Come and see what is going on during a choir rehearsal! Attend Coro Athena's open rehearsal on Friday the 11th of May all, 9.00 pm, at the Museo Civico Archeologico, via de's musei 8, Bologna. We will perform music composed by Padre Martini, Cherubini, Puccini, Schumann, Gluck, Galuppi e Strauss. Free entry.
Sabato 12 maggio, ore 17.00: Piccolo Coro Athena at Parco della Montagnola.

Sunday the 13th of May, 5.30 pm: Concert on occasion of the "Sempre coro mi fu" exhibition.
The Coro Athena performs at the exhibition "Sempre coro mi fu…", organised from the choir "Armonici senza fili". Where: Biblioteca di Padre G. B. Martini at Basilica di San Francesco, piazza Malpighi, Bologna.

The Athena Choir was founded in 2002 within the Archaeological Museum (Museo Civico Archeologico) of Bologna, out of the initiative of a group of colleagues whom, driven by a passion for music and singing, wished gathering togheter outside of the working hours for sharing a new experience. Initially made up of fourteen singers, the group now counts around fifty elements and it is a stable ensemble: choir, chamber choir, octet, female choir and, since 2007, children's choir (Piccolo Coro) for boys and girls aged 5 to 12.
